More Immigrants will Vote in US 2020 Elections than in Decades

Newcoming immigrants only consisted less than five percent of the population in 1970s, and today the percentage is 14, only one percent away from the record high of 15 percent in 1890.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 did away with immigrant numbers by the country, which made it easier for those from Latin America, Africa, and Asia to move to the United States. This year during the 2020 elections, a large amount of immigrants are going to vote.
