Last Eight Years of Green Card Lottery Results by Country

The United States Department of State creates a list of countries that are eligible to participate in the Green Card Lottery in the U.S. each year.

If there are less than 50,000 foreign nationals of a country that have immigrated to the United States during the last five years, that country will be listed and be eligible to participate in the Green Card Lottery for that year if they meet all work experience or educational requirements.

The Green Cards that are granted through the Lottery are spread throughout six regions of the world, and within those regions, no one country is permitted to receive more than 7% of the available Green Cards in one year. USAFIS is an immigration service that helps people who want to move to the USA to live and work.
